community work

Peter is part of a network of volunteers in Cincinnati called A Small Group. It is committed to the creation of a restorative and reconciled community. Its intent is to engage the disengaged. The means is to offer powerful tools and strategies of civic possibility, civic accountability, and civic commitment which enhance the associational life of the community. The outcome is to help citizens create a future distinct from the past. ASG meets once a month and is open to anyone interested in participating. It has also special offerings.

Civic Engagement and the Restoration of Community: Changing the Nature of the Conversation is a workshop series based on Peter's work and is conducted in Cincinnati several times a year. For the schedule, see A Small Group

Peter has participated in the Community Empowerment program conducted by the Mastery Foundation. See what they are doing with their Leadership Program and their work in the US, Northern Ireland and Israel.

One corporation that is committed to the freedom and engagement of their people is Mars Incorporated. Peter works with their leadership program and is beginning a conversation about their commitment to social responsibility for building the social fabric and health consciousness in communities around the world.

Finally there are a number of associations and community groups that have invited Peter into their learning process. These are available on request.
